Shah Khan dad of boxer Amir Khan who has masterminded the Bolton fighter’s career since he was a child – has quit as director of Khan Boxing Limited.
Amir Khan who left for new house and has not spoken to his parent for last six months, parents blame his American wife Faryal Makhdoom and her mother for the feud.
He is reported to has been house-hunting in Ascot, Berkshire with wife Faryal Makhdoom. He put his £1.2million home up for sale and moved into a renovated bungalow last year, which is next door to his parents.
Shah said: “They’re running the show. They’ve turned him against us.”
In 2017 Amir, 32, and Faryal, 28 almost split after hitting a rocky patch. They later made up.
A friend said: “Amir knows he has to grow up and the quality time he spent in New York for the Crawford fight with Faryal, without his family who have been with him on every step of his boxing career.
“He wants to make his marriage work and knows in order to do that he needs to get out of Bolton where his family are so close.
“His family have been there for his whole career but he’s 32-years-old now and thinks its time to leave the nest.”
