Just two months after their break up in Sep 2015, Ahsan, tried to contact the girl when she did not respond to his messages, he threatened her to post her pictures on the internet, which he filmed in hidden.
Ahsan then in revenge, posted her pictures which he filmed during couple’s privacy, on social media and finally they ended up being printed out and plastered on lampposts on the street where his girl friend lives. Pictures from poles were taken down by Brother of victim girl.
Copies of pictures of girl were also sent to family friends and even to girl’s parents address. He also sent pictures of her to her sister in law and friends on Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat, which were furthered shared ahead.
Ahsan was arrested by police, and was pleaded guilty for disclosing private pictures with intent to cause distress to girl, at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court.
Ahsan was sentenced to an 18-month community order with a 50-day rehabilitation requirement and 50 hours of unpaid work, along with £60 compensation, £85 costs, and a £180 Criminal Courts Charge to be paid.
