Additional Deputy Commissioner Mirpur Raja Imran Shaheen, Magistrate Mirpur Ch Mukhtaar, DSP Raja Azhar visited different shops, store, and meat selling points in Mirpur to monitor the prices and quality of essential items being provided to the people during Ramzan-ul-Mubarak.

They check different stalls and checked the rates, quality and supply of edibles, fruits and vegetables.

Those shopkeepers who were not selling food items as per rates fixed by government were made arrest. Dozens of shopkeepers were fined and others were warned.

The people expressed their satisfaction over the action taken against shopkeepers selling item at high price.
