Shaid Hanif, 38, of Stephen Crescent, Bolton, Bradford accused of raping a 22 years old girl and is facing rape trial. He got attacked by Complainant in court room of Bradford crown court. Shaid Hanif was left shocked and bruise and taken to hospital while trial was halted.

Alleged Rape took place at his home, on February 7 last year, when victim girl, aged 22, woke up with a broken jaw and a burn mark to her in the single bed of Shaid Hanif at his residence. When girl woke up she found a strange man, Shahid Hanif, next to her, whom she did not know. The girl was aware someone had had s** with her, but had no recollection of it happening.

Girl had drunk vodka and lager at a friend’s house after finishing work, and then went to The Village nightclub, in Sackville Street, Bradford, where she drank more alcohol, and took cocaine in the toilets.

she remembered as she was really drunk in night. Next day at 2:30 pm she woke up in the Shaid Hanif’s single bed and found herself injured and covered in blood. Her teeth were chipped, she had a broken jaw, needed stitches to a lip injury and suffered a broken little finger. Her br***t had a burn, which could have been caused by a lit cigarette being stubbed out on her.

Shaid Hanif told police that he found the girl in the city centre and offered help to her and or if she needs ambulance, but girl asked to go home with him in a taxi. Then he took the girl to his bedroom where they watched TV until 5am. When he went to bed she insisted on sleeping with him.

Sahid Hanif’s bail was renewed until the new trial date of November 21.
