Shabe Lailat al Miraj (Meraj UN Nabi)
Today (27 Rajab) is Lailat al Miraj, also known as Shab-e-Miraj Tuesday, May 27, 2014. On 27th Rajab, all the Muslim believers celebrate this as a grand day of Meraj as “Grand Eid”.
Shab-e-Miraj means the night of Ascent. It is the blessed night when the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was spiritually transported to heaven and He reached a high stage of nearness to God Almighty.
Shabe Meraj is the night on which Prophet Muhammad was taken to Allah and met all Prophets before him.
Tonight was the night Allah reduced the 50 prayers to 5.
Tonight (27 Rajab) is the night Prophet Muhammad led prayer and all the other prophets read behind him.
Tonight (27 Rajab) is a very Blessed and Powerful night.
Tonight (27 Rajab) we must not just pray for our family/friends but for the whole Muslim Ummah.
May Allah forgive ours Sins and all Muslims who suffering be forgiven for their sins.
May Alla grant all Muslims who passed away high rank in Jannat.
Remember all Muslims in your Prayer/Dua. Those who sick, pray for their good health. Those who are gone on the wrong path/Misguided, those who are poor and financially not stable. In fact For all Muslims.
Tonight is the night to forgive other Muslims. If I have done anything to harm you please forgive me. Don’t hold grudges.
Prayers (Nafl) for Shab-e-Miraj
Peform 12 rakaat Nafal Salah, and then read below Tasbeeh after Nafal
1) Subhanallahi wal humdu lillahi wa la elaha illal lahu walllahu akber (100 times)
2) DOROOD SHAREEF (100 times)
3) Astaghfirullaha rabbi min kulli zunbin wa atbu elaihi (100 times)
