A man who wished to married 3rd time burnt his wife alive in Mirpur. Abdul Rehman burnt his 2nd wife Azrah BB in order to get married 3rd time. 80% of her body was burnt when she was taken to hospital but could not survive and died.

Abdul Rehman burnt his 2nd Wife Azrah BB to death in order to get married thrice in Mirpur

Abdul Rehman who was already married and had 3 children from his first marriage, married Azarah BB of Mangla Hamlet about 8 years ago. The Couple had not children from this marriage. For which Azrah BB was harassed and beaten every now and then. Her husband Abdul Rehman forced her to find a woman for him in order to get married 3rd time.

Azarah BB refused to do so, upon which Abdul Rehman burnt her alive today, Thursday, 13 April 2017 at morning time. After setting her on fire, he told his in laws that their daughter had a heart attack and is admitted in hospital.

When parents and family members of Azrah BB arrive in hospital they came to know she was burnt, but unfortunately her body was burnt 80% and doctors could not save her life and she died later same day.

Hafiz Nazir brother of deceased woman reported FIR against Abdul Rehman in Police station, police arrested him and has started investigation of the case.
