6 people were taken to hospital after a dramatic car crash last night on Friday after 4 cars collided with each other in Halliwell Road, Bolton, shortly before 11 pm on Friday in front of Indian takeaway shop Curry House.
Police has made and arrest and took a 22-year-old boy in their custody on suspicion of dangerous drink driving.
7 people were involved in accident, 5 of them manged to get out of their vehicles two remaining were rescued by emergency service personnel. One of them a 34 year old has suffered head injuries, while a 60 years old man have suffered spinal injuries in the crash, which happened at the junction of Halliwell Road and Weymouth Street. 6 people were taken to hospital for further treatment, but none of them suffered life threatening injuries.
4 cars involved in the incident were a silver Audi A4 convertible, a white BMW, a dark-coloured Citroen Picasso, and a green Vauxhall Zafira.
One of the problems on Halliwell Road is the marked parking bays which restrict drivers views when trying to enter Halliwell Road from side street. These drink and drunk driver of super/luxury cars should be banned for putting life of public in danger.
