A Passenger Bus carrying Passengers from Dadyal to Mirpur, fell in to 70 feet deep ditch after its break failed near Kass Haran, Kaneeli area of Chakswari. 6 people died and 35 injured in this accident, injured passengers are shifted to Mirpur District Hospital, while few with critical condition are referred to Rawalpindi.

Accident occurred at 8:00 am Morning.

About 50 Passengers were traveling in Bus including children, men and women, 15 people were shifted to Mirpur DHQ Hospital, 3 of them expired. About 18 Passengers were shifted to Islamgarh Welfare Trust, 1 of them died.

7 people who were in critical condition and are referred to Islamabad Hospital.

Bus driver, 60 years old Nazer Hussain son of Sajawal Hussain, resident of Palaak could not survive and died.

Muhammad Hussain son of Mangta Khan resident of Boa Chakswari and Zeenat Begum wife of Muhammad Hussain resident of Tang Dev, Chakswari died as a result of accident.

Noor Muhammad son of Dil Muhammad, resident of Darlya Jattan, Kotli expired in Islamgarh Welfare Trust Hospital.

According to a Passenger in Bus, Bus driver could not control vehicle after its breaks failed and it fell from the hill in to 70 feet ditch. There were no safety barriers build on road side, if there were safety barriers, bus would not fell into ditch.
