51 year-old woman who had been attacked on the car park of the Ladbrokes shop near junction of Chatley Road, opposite St Chad’s church, in Cheetham Hill, Manchester today early morning near 4:00 am.
Before raping the old lady, rapist punched her in the face, leaving her bloodied and bruised, and then raped her.
The rapist man was in his 40s, around 5ft 8 ins, of medium build with dark hair and a full beard, after assulting the lady he escaped in a small, dark color car. He was wearing a brown jacket and dark color pant.
A detailed description of the rapist is given to detectives, police also appeal for any witnesses, anyone who saw him, or who may have any more information, to come forward. Forensic officers in white suits also arrived to find the clues. Police also stopped people from passing the area where incident happened to give space to forensic officers to work and take photographs.
The old woman is now being supported by specialist officers.
