Government decided to launch 3G and 4G services in Azad Kashmir in a meeting on Wednesday. In this meeting Ch. Tahir, along with the chairman of PTA Dr. Ismail Shah and information technology minister Mudassir Hussain took decision of launching these services in Kashmir as they think it would be unfair to keep this service from the people of these areas. They discussed that they have always heard complaints regarding this issue whenever they visit these areas.
So they decided to launch these internet services in these areas as soon as possible because 3G has been introduced in Pakistan for over a year now but these beautiful places are not provided with these services. So it has been announced that along with 3G internets, wireless internet services will also be provided.
Telecom companies have already started working on this matter. The postponement had occurred due to Azad Kashmir council. But now they have allowed the telecom companies to start working on this as it has become a necessity.
