80 couples from poor families tied the knot at a mass wedding in Kotli on last day. Al-Mustafa Welfare Society organised the event, bore all expenses; with the dowry for every couple.

Former Federal Minister Haji Muhammad Hanif Tayyab as the chief guest in the ceremony addresses the gathering and said, all those who can afford should spend money on the name of Allah as is it the act like be Allah.

He quoted examples of Abdul Sattar Edhi, who devoted his whole life for the welfare of humanity. This was the 5th event by Al Mustafa Welfare Society in Kotli while in past they have organized events in other cites of Pakistan.

Former Minister AJK Govt, Javaid Iqbal Budvani and many many other political and social persons representing different organizations were present at the event.

During interview to media they President Al-Mustafa Welfare Society, Hafiz Maqsood told that we are working on this project since many years and they it is the 5th event in Kotli, in past they have organized events in Gujranwala, Faisalabad, and other cities as well.

A lot of couples are waiting and saving the money to tie the knot, but they don’t have the money to arrange a their weddings and have to wait for years. This initiative taken by Al-Mustafa Welfare Society is highly appreciated, who work for the welfare of poor people.
