Mirpur, Due to negligence, carelessness and late arrival of Rescue 1122, a 22 Year Old Hard worker died. According to details, during the construction of the Sewage Line in Sector F/2, due to land sliding a worker working at site, Mohammad Akram Khan s/o Mohammad Sultan, Resident Safi Abad Takhat Bhai, District Mardan, was trapped in the land sliding. Residents of Sector immediately called Rescue 1122 but the Rescue Team arrived after 45 minutes, when the trapped worker was freed from the landslide he was alive but due to unavailability of Oxygen Providing Instruments resulted in death of the worker.

The public and social sectors condemned this accident and demanded suspension of the Rescue 1122 on grounds of negligence and carelessness and providing the Rescue 1122 with the Modern Rescue Instruments. The People present at the time of incident told an Independent News Network that The Contractor is equally responsible for the incident as such an incident has occurred previously as well which was buried by the contractor. The death of a worker and innocent laborer is a sad incident and legal action should be taken against the responsible so that such incidents can be avoided.
