Ayesha Farooq, 23, resident of Wexham ward, Slough, died when her Vauxhall Corsa was involved in a crash on Uxbridge Road near the Crooked Billet roundabout between Slough and Iver on 19 October 2016. Ayesha was just married 2 and a half months ago, she died in a fatal accident on scene.
In her memory a fund raising charity event was organized by her family and friends in which community members were invited. Fund raising campaign was also started to raise money to dig water wells to provide clean water in poor countries. Event was organized by Family friend Shabnum Sadiq – a Slough borough councillor, held at the Iqra School, Fernside, Wexham Road. Councillor Shabnum Sadiq arrived in the event accompanied by her fellow Wexham councillor Haqeeq Dar.
The amount £14,414 raised of £20,000 target by 518 supporters on an online website. Water wells in Syria, Gaza, Lebanon and Africa in the memory Ayesha Farooq as a form Sadka Jaria.
May Allah Subhan wa Tallah grant her the highest position in Jannat ul Firdous. May He increase and protect her in the hereafter and maintain peace and tranquility in the hearts of her beloved family member and friends. Ameen.
