According to details 12 year old Ahad rafiq, resident of Mera Damral( Thoa) drowned while bathing in Mangla Dam. The people on spot tried their best to save him but to no vain. Till the victim’s body was retrieved and attempted to expel water from his abdomen he was already died. The whole community was in uproar with the sudden death of little child.

Parents should not allow their children to take shower in Mangla Dam as there are deep ditches in Mangla Lake.

Dozens of deaths are reported in news papers and still people do not care. In Last Ramazan dozens of young boys died while taking shower in Mangla Dam and in many other rivers of Azad Kashmir.
