School girl who cannot be named was repeatedly raped by the drug dealer gang for 1 year in 2011. 12 members of the grooming gang named, Yasser Kabir, Tauqeer Hussain, Sufyan Ziarab, Bilal Ziarab, Nazir Khan, Faisal Khan, Hussain Sardar, Saqib Younis, Zain Ali, Israr Ali, Mohammed Akram and Khalid Mahmood. All of them are jailed for more than 140 years.

The police and social services, after an independent review found the victim could have been protected as multiple opportunities were missed by the authorities to protect the girl from abuse.

During one year of the sexual assault once 5 members of the gang lined her up and took their turns to abuse her.

She told her mother she can’t say what is happening to her. Her mother gathered car numbers and details from her phone and passed to police. Her father also told the community resource worker about his feeling that she is being groomed by Pakistanis and that she had been locked in a garage but had escaped.

Bradford Council’s Children’s Specialist Services described the Victim’s behavior as adult sexual behavior despite the concerns of sexual abuse.

Once the victim girl told police she had been driven around and raped by masked men but police described that she has withdrawal her allegation. A medical examination could have been done here to stop the abuse.

once school found a used condom in her coat and reported it to police, but police advised that no crime has been committed with it.
