1 died 18 injured in a School Bus Accident in Kotli

Rises Foundation School, Kotli, Bus which was carrying School children on a trip to Islamabad fell in a ditch resulting 1 dead and 18 school children injured. Accident happened after breaks of bus failed near Sarsawa Seri, Kotli District of AJK.

According to details, But of Rises Foundation School in Bhatiak Baloch Awan village, was on way to Islamabad for a trip. When Bus reached Sarsawa Seri, its breaks failed and it went out of control and fell in a ditch. Bus conductor Shabir son of Makhan, resident of Baloch died on spot while 18 children were injured in accident including, Usman, Sundas, Muaiz, Ijaz, Nazakat, Sadia, Shabnam, Iram, Zafran, Amman, Minahil, Izaz, Aima, Shadab, Aima, Zulqairnain and Qadeer received serious injuries.

After news broke in the area, Rescue 1122, NGOS, and police arrived on accident spot. Injured students were shifted to Kotli DHQ hospital. Driver of the bus is on run after accident.

According to witness bus was over speed, police has registered FIR against driver and is searching for him.

Due to negligence of driver a school children who were going on visit to Islamabad, went to hospital with injures.
