Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman chair of Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee announced the sighting of moon and Eidul Fitr will be celebrated on Sunday 24, May 2020 in Pakistan.
A meeting of the Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee was underway in Karachi for sighting the moon of Shawwal, which marks the beginning of Eidul Fitr.
The meeting was chaired by Mufti Muneebur Rehman, who an announcement regarding the sighting of the crescent. The Pakistan Meteorological Department experts are also a part of the session.
Earlier in the day, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry had said that Eidul Fitr will be celebrated in the country tomorrow (Sunday), according to calculations made by his ministry.

At 10:15 PM on Pakistani media Mufti Muneeb ur Rehman announced to that several people have sighted moon in the country and announced Eid on Sunday.
