PIA flight PK8303 had 99 passengers and eight crew members on board. The crew members scheduled to perform duties on flight included Captain Sajja Gul, Usman Azam, Fareed Ahmed, Abdul Qayum Ashraf. Malik Irfan Rafiq, Amina Irfan, Aasma Shahzadi, Sanam Masood, who all belonged to Lahore.

Flight attendant Madiha Iram told that a matter at home kept her from boarding the flight scheduled to take off from Lahore to Karachi.

In a video message the flight attendant entails that she was recording the message for her friends and loved ones who had been worried about her after finding out that she was scheduled to be among the flight staff for the A-320. She told by the Grace of Allah she is at home and safe.

The death toll from the

crash of a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) aircraft, PK-8303, with more than 90 passengers on board and eight crew members has risen to 70, whereas, three passengers miraculously survived.

The pilot of the unfortunate PIA aircraft PK-8303, Captain Sajjad Gul, has been declared dead. Captain Sajjad Gul, was described by Pakistan Airline Pilots Association as one of its most experienced members.

Sajjad Gul was married and a father to four children and was a resident of Defence Housing Society (DHA) Lahore. The family and loved ones of the deceased pilot struck by tragedy are in a state of shock and disbelief at what transpired whereas people have started pouring in at their residence to offer condolences.
