Ishah Riaz, 17, Died in a Toad Traffic Collision in Bingley, Bradford

Ishah Riaz, a year 12 student, was involved in the road traffic incident on Bradford Road. The accident happened near the school at about 4pm.

The car’s driver, a 65-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and police are appealing for witnesses to the collision.

Police are appealing for witnesses following Thursday’s fatal road traffic collision. It involved a green Skoda Octavia travelling along the B6265 Bradford Road towards Bingley.

Police said the collision happened at about 3.58pm on the B6265 Bradford Road. The driver has since been released under investigation for enquiries to continue.

Ishah’s death is the second tragedy to hit Beckfoot School this month. A Year 9 student Raees Farid died in a road traffic collision with his dad while they were on holiday in Turkey.

Police are appealing for witnesses following Thursday’s fatal road traffic collision.
