Doctors Suspended for Holding ‘Mujra’ Dance Party at Hospital in Pakistan

K-P Governor Zafar Iqbal sought detailed report on the issue

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Zafar Iqbal Jhagra has suspended two health officials for holding a dance party in the Agency Headquarters hospital in North Waziristan which was organized by doctors and hospital staff on wedding ceremony.

The governor issued the orders to suspend a medical superintendent and a surgeon of the hospital located in Miranshah after the video of Mujra Dance was shared on the social media, local media reported.

In the video, three females can be seen dancing while a large number of people were present to enjoy the Mujra Dance party. Many members of dance party were throwing cash money on dancers and pleasing them.

The dance party was arranged at night in the hospital to celebrate a wedding ceremony, it is learnt. The late-night programme caused troubles for patients as patients were left with out care and all

hospital staff members were enjoying Mujra party.

Ordering a probe into the matter, the governor has sought a detailed report from authorities as soon as possible until then the medical superintendent and a surgeon of the hospital are suspended.
