Brothers Killed their Sisters Over Inherited Property Dispute in 2 Separate Incidents in Pakistan

Two brothers allegedly killed their sister over property dispute in Allama Iqbal Town in Lahore today (Wednesday).

Sajjad Saleem, elder brother of the victim girl identified as Sameera Saleem, lodged a complaint with local police that his younger brothers, Waqas Saleem and Ijaz Saleem subjected their sister to severe torture and allegedly killed her by giving her poison.

Brothers Waqas Saleem and Ijaz Saleem often argue over a property for selling it, however Waqas took his sister into the home of Ijaz where she was poisoned to death.

Police have shifted the body to hospital for post-mortem and registered a case to launch investigation. According to First Information Report (FIR), a property dispute was the reason of the incident which arose after the sale of their inherited property and the woman was poisoned to death by her brothers Waqas and Aijaz.

In a similar incident, two brothers allegedly murdered one of their sisters and critically wounded the other night in the city’s Chak 1, Gujiani area.

According to police, Yaseen and Boota attacked their sisters with axes over a property dispute. As a result, they killed Rasoolan, 40, and injured the other sister, who was shifted to district Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in a critical condition.

Another domestic dispute resulted in the murder of a father by his son in the Daud Khel area of Mianwali.

According to reports, Ikramullah Khan, a professor in Pai Khel, was injured by his sons and brought to the hospital for medical assistance where he lost his life.

A week ago, Ikramullah Khan was severely stabbed by a pair of scissors in a scuffle with his son. Ikramullah Khan lost his life in a federal capital hospital after fighting for his life for a week.
