Boxer Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom were joined by daughters Lamaisah, five, and Alanya, one, in a picture, all wearing Christmas outfits.
Wearing matching pyjamas, each family member donned a shirt with antlers and a red nose stitched on the front – Amir Khan’s reading “Daddy Deer”.
Boxer Amir Khan posted picture with his wife and daughters Lamaisah and Alanya with a caption: “Wishing you a magical and blissful holiday! Merry Christmas #khanfamily @FaryalxMakhdoom #MerryChrismas.”
But Boxer Amir was trolled on Instagram and twitter for his post wishing people a Merry Christmas, where people claimed they should not be enjoying Christmas.
One comment on the original Instagram post decried Khan as a: “Bloody disgrace to our religion.”
Following which Khan tweeted on Thursday: “So shocked by all the hate I’m getting on my Twitter & Instagram for wishing everyone Merry Christmas and posting a picture with my family in Christmas outfits.”
The boxer was then immediately flooded with messages of support from well-wishers

Another said: ‘Haters just want to be like you but aren’t that’s why they’re sad.’
A third went on: ‘Aww amir. Dont get stressed. Have a great time with your family and friends. You have a lot of well wishers as well. Take care x.’
