3 Bradford men have been jailed for a total of more than 18 years after 1.3kg of class A drugs worth over £76,000 were found in a shopping bag.
Wasiq Khan, 34, of Fenby Grove, Bowling, Yasar Fahad, 32, of Pearson Street, off Leeds Road, and Irfan Khan, 25, of Warley Grove, Bradford Moor, were caught with a silver Vauxhall Astra on the evening of November 2 last year when police were on mobile patrol in the Barkerend area of the city.
Yasar Fahad was driving the car, Irfan Khan, who was the front seat passenger when police pulled over the car, Wasiq Khan, fled from the back of the car and ran down a nearby ginnel with a large shopping bag who eas chased by police office.
Later the shopping bag was found in a yard, with more than £76,000 of drugs, while Wasiq Khan was also found with a little over £416.
When police checked their mobile phones, the messages on the phones linked to Fahad and Irfan Khan believed to be related to drug dealing.
They were facing charges of possession with intent to supply heroin, crack cocaine and cocaine were jailed at Bradford crown court.
Fahad had to receive a minimum seven-year sentence because of his previous convictions. He was jailed for 7 years and 6 months.
Irfan Khan was jailed for 5 years and 8 months while Wasiq Khan was jailed for 5 years and 6 months.
