A lady tried to sell her two younger sisters to different gangs, but the two teenagers have been rescued by the police. The girls had previously fled their family home to stay with their elder sister and brother-in-law.
The local media in Spain told that the teenagers’ brother in law is also accused of raping the youngest sister, aged 16, before he planned to sell both girls with his wife.
The girls were kept in the provinces of Valladolid and Zamora, in Spain, after they were sold to different gangs for 10,000 Euros each, that is about £8,900.
Seven people have been arrested after police had found the 16 and 17-year old Romanian girls during an operation.
An investigation was launched in November 2017, after the police was informed that a resident in the city of Zamora has sold two girls to the mobs nearby.
When the police found the girls, the elder one was in poor health. The younger sister told that she had been raped by her sister’s husband.
The girls were sent to a public care center to get specialist support.
