The two coronavirus patients who tried to flee away from the country have been convicted and shifted to the PIMS Hospital in Islamabad.

According to details, two passengers named Malik Ishaq and Malik Ahsan earlier arrived in Pakistan from Dubai. As per rule, when they went through the screening for Coronavirus at the Islamabad airport; both were found suffering from fever.

In this regard, the doctors recommended that passengers must be taken and shifted to the PIMS Hospital for further tests. As soon as both passengers heard about tests in hospital, they left their family including a baby at the airport and tried to flee away from airport.

The airport manager said that they, however, contacted the passengers through their boarding card’s information and persuaded them to enter the PIMS Hospital for tests, to check if its a normal fever or convid-19 fever, after which they returned.

According to the manager, the body temperature of 6 more passengers went up during the screening. Along with Malik Ishaq and Malik Ahsan, who were referred to for checkup in Hospital.

Later both men were taken to PIMS Hospital where they were tested positive for convid-19 and are being treated at hospital.

So far, three people have died of the virus. Two deaths were reported in KP’s Mardan and Peshawar on Wednesday and one in Karachi

on Thursday.

There is no need of panic, Coronavirus symptoms are cough, fever, difficulty breathing, which a normal person can have. During screening temperature of a passengers is checked which can be normal fever.

After screening at airport authorities refers passengers with (even with normal) fever to a doctor who will take your medical and travel history. You will be told whether you need to be tested or not.

If you need to be tested health authorities will admit you to hospital isolation ward. Your contacts will be traced and also tested to stop the virus being spread. Don’t panic it can be normal fever which only doctors at hospital can confirm not the airport authorities.
